TERMS OF CARTAGE WIZZ COURIERS

  1. We are not a common carrier and will not accept any liability as a common carrier.
  2. We reserve the right to refuse cartage of any goods at our sole discretion.
  3. All goods to be clearly marked with a delivery address, business or contact name, city, state, postcode and contact phone number.
  4. We reserve the right at our discretion to subcontract the cartage of your goods and such subcontractor is entitled to the benefit of these conditions to the same extent.
  5. We shall not deliver for cartage any dangerous, explosive, inflammable or any other goods which are subject to spoilage without first presenting a full description of those goods. If you fail to provide that full description we shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered.
  6. You will at all times remain responsible to us for our fees and proper charges incurred with respect to and arising out of cartage of the goods. You agree to pay a delay fee to us if we are delayed at your premises for whatever reason in excess of thirty minutes in loading or unloading provided that delay is not caused by our default.
  7. You must accept responsibility for any damage or loss of any goods whilst in our custody, storage or transit due to your packaging of the goods or due to any cause beyond our control including civil commotion, act of god, intervention, war, strike, seizure, accident, suspension, fire, snow or water.
  8. Insurance – We do not insure your goods during transit unless arranged prior to collection. Insurance only available on new items not second hand goods.
  9. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, no responsibility will be accepted for any loss or damage to or miss delivery or non delivery of goods either in transit or in storage for any reason.
  10. If the provisions of the Trade Practices Act or Fair Trading Act apply to this agreement, then our maximum liability is limited to either (at our discretion);
    • Resupplying the cartage service
    • Making payment in lieu of cartage service
  11. No claim for any consequential loss will be accepted.
  12. You must ensure that there is safe and proper access to the point at which we are to collect or deliver the goods.
  13. The goods are at your risk at all times.
